2L Trails Feasibility Study

October 16, 2014 by Charli Williams

If you own property along Highway 93 North, Highway 93 South, or the Salmon River between Salmon and Morgan Bar you may have noticed something in the mail from us recently.  Hopefully you’ve opened it, read it & returned the enclosed survey & if so, THANK YOU.  If you haven’t returned the survey, please take a few minutes to do so & if you saw the envelope, laid it off to the side & may have forgotten about it, don’t feel bad, but we’d love it if you’d find it & take a look at its contents.

So what exactly is this mystery mail I’m talking about?  LRLT has teamed up with our partners at Salmon Valley Stewardship to assist them in one of their endeavors–a feasibility study looking at pathways along the above mentioned highway & river routes.  We are involved in this portion of the feasibility study because it capitalizes on what we do best–working with private landowners.  It’s important to remember that this is simply a feasibility study, no decisions are being made at this time, we’re simply helping to gauge the interest of adjacent property owners.

So how can you get more information, fill out a survey if you misplaced yours or provide input even if you’re not an adjacent landowner?  Head on over to SVS’s website.  There you’ll find a timeline, information on what work has already been completed on the study & a comment form for your feedback.
