You don’t have to look hard to find wildlife on our conservation easement properties & that’s reason #5 to support LRLT on Idaho Gives Day, May 5th. Working with landowners, LRLT has protected on of the only blue heron rookeries on the Salmon River (Cole Ranch conservation easement), a section of Hayden Creek home to up to 25% of all the Chinook salmon spawning in the Lemhi Basin (Hayden Creek Ranch conservation easement) and our staff have encountered deer, elk, moose, black bears, owls and more on conserved properties.
