Trout Creek Ranch

Location: Ellis, Idaho on Trout Creek & the Pahsimeroi River
Land Size: 133 acres
Year Completed: 2012
Trout Creek Ranch

Located in the Pahsimeroi Valley along the Lemhi – Custer County line, Trout Creek Ranch is owned by Robert & Virigina Chewning.  This donated conservation easement ensures that the water quality and quantity in the Pahsimeroi River will be maintained while protecting habitat for both native and anadromous fish.  Additionally, the conservation easement protects the functioning riparian and wetland ecosystems and open spaces that provide habitat for native wildlife such as raptors, waterfowl, herons, elk, deer, moose and many other plant and animal species.
